That's what UCCF are all about, getting alongside those who are best placed to reach students, students themselves, in order that every non-believing student has an opportunity to hear and respond to the good news about Jesus. We need new Christian Union Staff Workers (CUSWs) and a new Team Leader to work with us from August 2009 ... could you help students unite around gospel truths to win the campus for Christ?
CUSWs work directly with students, meeting with CU leaders and standing with CU members in their evangelism. The strengths each CUSW brings to the role can vary, but at the heart of the work are skills to help students think and live biblically, and the ability to disciple, motivate and influence students in this way, so to equip them to share the gospel.
CUSWs are part of a team, cared for and supported by a Team Leader. Vacancies are opening up in our Scotland, North East, North West, Midlands, Wales, London, East Central, South East, and South West Teams. The salary range is £17K pa-£19.6K pa dependent on location of role.
Team Leaders co-ordinate the work of UCCF at a strategic level nationally and locally. Our new Team Leader will look after the North East team, providing direction, support and strategic planning for not only CUSWs, but also Relay Workers and volunteers. The salary is £28K pa (including an office in home allowance). |
